More than just solar panels
VDL Sports Projects looks beyond simply installing solar panels. In sports environments, it is about complete energy solutions that align with the site’s day-to-day use.

This includes:

• engineering and structural integration
• integration with energy storage
• smart energy management
• support for charging infrastructure
• peak load reduction
• preparation for grid congestion
• maintenance and future-proofing

Smart combination with energy storage
Combining solar panels with energy storage provides greater control over energy consumption and peak demand. This gives sports venues additional flexibility during matches, events and busy periods.

An integrated energy system helps sports facilities prepare for:

• growing energy demand
• electrification
• expansion of charging facilities
• future grid capacity issues

Technology, infrastructure and delivery
VDL Sports Projects delivers energy solutions as part of complete sports infrastructure. From engineering and structural integration to implementation and maintenance, reliability is at the heart of everything we do.

This creates a future-proof energy supply that meets the dynamic needs of modern sports and event venues.
